“God loves a cheerful giver.”
We are Blessed to be a Blessing.
I don’t say thank you nearly enough for all that you do for me and TLC. The work that we share would not be possible without your prayers, your financial support, your volunteer hours, and your cheerful spirit.
I don’t say thank you nearly enough for the generous ways that you share your blessings with the larger world. No one ever receives a bill from TLC. There are no membership dues or assessments. We would never cut off your power.
I don’t say thank you nearly enough for being “cheerful givers.” How could I thank you for literally saving lives with your hunger offerings, for helping victims of disasters to rebuild, for giving hope to the impoverished in Bihar, India.
I don’t say thank you nearly enough. Thank you for helping Trinity be a place of grace. Thank you for welcoming the stranger, for reaching out to greet new faces each Sunday, for hanging in there when the church seems to be changing in ways that might be uncomfortable for you.
I don’t say thank you nearly enough for the cookies, the notes of encouragement, for your heartfelt expressions of care. Thank you for forgiving me, for being patient with me, for putting up with bad jokes, for loving my family, for crying with me and for me, for the past 28 years.
I don’t say thank you nearly enough. So, let me take this opportunity to say THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart thank you. Being your pastor is a privilege that I do not take for granted.
God loves a cheerful giver. Blessed to be a Blessing.
Love,
Pastor Jim
