The Robin Edgeman Era 1993-2026…
You are invited to a celebration of faithfulness on Labor Day weekend. We are celebrating the faithful ministry of Robin Edgeman on Sunday, September 6th.
Robin joined our church staff in June of 1993. She worked part-time as a secretary and receptionist. As our little church grew Robin grew with us, she assumed more hours and more responsibility. She soon became our full-time Parish Administrator. Robin took interest in every person, she listened, cared for, and loved the people of this community. In return, she is beloved, she is loved and treasured, a gift from God, the glue that has held us all together. Robin has decided now that it is time to retire. Her last day in the office will be Friday, August 28th. She is not leaving the community, but she will be stepping away from her work here to enjoy her grandchildren and a much-deserved retirement.
We will be honoring Robin on Sunday, September 6th at the 8 am and 10 am services. The celebration will continue with festive coffee hours after each service. You are encouraged to be with us as we honor all who labor on our behalf that day, with a special focus on the one who has labored for us faithfully for the past 33 years. Bring a card for Robin or drop one by the office during the week.
Personally, Robin has been more than a Parish Administrator to me, she has been a partner in ministry. She has been a mentor, an inspiration, a trusted colleague and a much-loved friend. Words would not be adequate to thank her for all that she has done for me, for this community, and for the mission that we share.
May God Bless Robin Edgeman as she has been such a blessing to us all.
In gratitude,
Pastor Jim
